Bonsaï Money

– Spend, Save, Sow, Share

Giving a new generation the tools to grow in financial literacy, Podcasts, videos, interviews & more!📱

📖 The nickname ‘money tree’ actually comes from an ancient Chinese story, in which a poverty-stricken farmer prays for wealth but instead comes across a single Pachira aquatica plant. Impressed by its beauty, he plants more for others to see – and soon becomes one of the wealthiest men in the area by selling them!🤩💸

We chose the name Bonsaï because, literally translated, it means ‘planted in a container’ – we like to think it’s a great analogy for starting a small business🤯 So, if you’re interested in branching out (sorry) and expanding your financial knowledge, follow us! We have some great content coming soon, ranging from tips & tricks to podcasts, panels and more🥳

Our Story

Money4YOUTH is one of the most progressive discovery platforms for young people within the 9 – 25 year age range. The initiative is our ‘pride of place’ programme, founded originally in 2014.

Money4YOUTH tackles inequality by teaching you how to be a great steward of your personal finances. It’s an exciting opportunity to harness your potential for greater achievement.
Marginalised individuals and communities can thrive, we know that – but only if they have access to financial management education and the confidence to engage in entrepreneurship.

How do we do it?

“Let me do what I want to do!”

Money4YOUTH is a broad church, training Parents, Educators, Children, Young People in disadvantaged communities for FREE, all around the world.

In particular, we want to create opportunities for aspiring Black, Asian, Multi-Ethnic and Refugee individuals who have innovative ideas and fresh perspectives.

Because when they do, that’s when we get to work!

We coordinate a range of learning and development activities involving administration, e-learning, management training as well as budget tracking and analysis skills.

So if you are a parent, teacher, a young person or even a government official and keen to join one of the most progressive and high profile youth development programmes around – we know you will thrive in our environment and we look forward to hearing from you. The Young Entrepreneurs Club

When there are very few entry points for a discussion about money for young people

Along with the over-arching assumption that kids are irresponsible and incapable of discussing the subject of money, you have before you the ingredients for a social tragedy.

The notion of the disinterested youth is challenged in the Young Entrepreneurs Club. Simply put, young people are starved of opportunities to discuss this monumental life subject and in our experience respond constructively when offered the opportunity to do so.

These Clubs aim to support young people in building potential, because taking action in response to the subject of money should be preceded by learning about its effect in the world around us.

We run a number of independent clubs in countries around the world, fast and flexible, these Clubs work hard at the point of need with five very real and specific ambitions to:

  1. To provide a platform for its members to save.
  2. To provide an opportunity for members to borrow.
  3. To promote networking.
  4. To allow members to share business ideas.
  5. To share investment opportunities.

Members receive training and support annually. Particularly suitable to run as a Business Club for Women. Learn more about how you can set up a Club up in your country today.
